Scruffy Dog Rescue Shropshire - Fundraising

Calling all company owners, directors, company charity co-ordinators,

We have been working hard to raise funds for Happy Bus Seats, this is our nickname for our dog transportation from Romania, Bosnia or Spain to bring rescue dogs to Scruffy Dog Rescue Shropshire with a view to arranging their adoption to UK families once the dogs have been assessed, nurtured, cared for and prepared for adoption. We have 7 sponsored seats in place and would like a further 3 to be ‘corporate’ Happy Bus Seats, and after these are secured, we will begin using the sponsorship funding to bring dogs over to the UK on a named seat on the Happy Bus.

We would like to offer you the opportunity to sponsor a corporate seat on the “Happy Bus” which will be known as “The [company name] Seat”. Sponsorship will help us transport one rescued dog to Shropshire, and once that dog has been adopted, the transport cost will be recovered from the adoption fee and your corporate seat will be available once more for the next dog. With your permission, we will ensure the corporate seat is named, with your company name and in return we will promote your company on our website and social media. A corporate seat on the Happy Bus requires a one-off tax-deductible donation of £450 to Scruffy Dog Rescue Shropshire Fundraising.

The “Happy Bus” is a specialist animal transportation van, air conditioned, with a carer on board looking after the dogs’ every need whilst they travel. 

We very much hope you will consider helping us to sponsor the transportation for one of our dogs, which in turn will fund the next and the next. A corporate seat will be so special for the eventual adopters too, knowing that your company helped Scruffy Dog Rescue Shropshire with their dog from rescue to adoption. All our fundraising is for the dogs in our care both here in the UK and abroad.
